Terms of service
Effective 30 September 2026
These terms apply to arXiv Daily at aikish.ir, on the web and on Android (“the service”). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it. How we handle your information is described in the privacy policy.
1. The service
arXiv Daily shows the papers announced on arXiv each day in the subjects you choose, with their abstracts, machine translations into Persian, spoken audio made by speech-synthesis models, and access to the full papers. The service is free of charge and offered for personal, non-commercial use.
2. Accounts
- You can use the service with an email address and password, with Google Sign-In, or as a guest.
- Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Give an email address you control; it is how we reach you about your account.
- You may stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy).
3. Acceptable use
Do not:
- try to get into accounts or parts of the service that are not yours;
- overload the service, for example with automated bulk downloading or scraping;
- use the service to break the law or anyone's rights;
- resell the service or its audio and translations.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Papers and their authors
The papers, their abstracts and their PDFs belong to their authors and are distributed by arXiv under the licence each author chose. arXiv Daily only shows and reads them to you; it claims no rights in them. If you reuse a paper, follow its licence and cite it. Thank you to arXiv for use of its open access interoperability. arXiv Daily is not affiliated with or endorsed by arXiv or Cornell University.
5. Machine translations and audio
Translations and spoken audio are produced automatically. They can contain mistakes, mispronounce formulas or names, or leave things out. They are an aid for discovering papers, not a replacement for reading the original — rely on the paper itself, in the language it was written in. Some of the speech models used are licensed for non-commercial use only, which is one reason the service is free and non-commercial.
6. Availability
We try to keep the service running and up to date, but it is provided as is, may be unavailable at times, and features may change or end. Audio and translations may lag behind arXiv's announcements.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss arising from using it or being unable to use it, including errors in translations, audio or summaries.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always at this address with its effective date. If you keep using the service after a change, the new terms apply.
